Rook is currently at Rev C engineering review, not production. The intended product is a pocketable 124 × 74 × 16.5 mm graphite handheld built around a 4-inch touch display, packet-derived detection cards, a GPS mini-map, off-grid mesh, and logged events. Three conspicuous red hardware switches physically remove power from GNSS, microphone, and speaker circuits; recessed edge keys and microSD preserve core operation when touch or connectivity is unavailable. Four separated processor domains keep the interface, Wi-Fi/LoRa, BLE/802.15.4, and battery-safety responsibilities isolated.
